Hikiyose Is An Exquisite Wooden Product Created By Blending Modern Design And Two Traditional Japanese Manufacturing Techniques: "Kijibiki" (Shaping Wooden Materials With An Edged Tool And Lathe) And "Yosegi" (Wooden Mosaic Works Using Different Types Of Wood Pieces). Designed By Kaichiro Yamada Of Kaichi Design, This Product Won The Good Design Award In 2014.
Use & Care Instructions
- Avoid Exposure To Intense Temperatures And Humidity, Extreme Dryness, And Direct Sunlight For Extended Periods As These Can Lead To Cracking Or Deformation.
- Drops And Strong Impacts Can Cause Cracking Or Breakage. Do Not Use A Hard Scourer Or Sponge.
- Thinner And Benzine Can Cause The Coating To Come Off.
- Hikiyose Is Not Suitable For Use With Gas Stoves, Microwaves, Or Dishwashers.
- Do Not Soak In Water For Long Periods As This May Cause Cracking Or Bending.
- Do Not Leave Food Inside Or Keep It Wet As This May Cause Stains, Mold, And Bacteria Growth.
- If You Smell It When First Using, Pour Hot Water In It And Wait For 3 Minutes, Then Drain And Wipe It Before Using.
- After Use, Wash It With A Soft Sponge And Warm Water With A Neutral Detergent, Then Wipe It Dry With A Cloth.
