- 飯切（または飯台）は日本の伝統的な寿司桶で、通常は握り寿司やちらし寿司を盛り付けたり、酢飯を作るのに使用されます。このボウルは、日本の長野県木曽地方のサワラ材で作られており、伝統的な方法で手作りされています。柾目模様と銅の装飾が、このボウルに洗練された外観を与えています。
- サワラ材は、飯切（または飯台）やおひつなど、日本の伝統的な調理器具を作るために古くから使用されており、耐久性と耐水性で知られています。木材に含まれる天然樹脂は、天然の抗菌特性も備えています。
使用とお手入れ
- まれに、表面に樹脂が染み出し、黄色っぽく、べたつき、染みのような外観になることがあります。これは自然で無害です。ただし、酢またはエタノール液（消毒用アルコール）で拭き取ることができます。多少の黄色の染みが残る場合がありますが、安全に使用できます。
- 使用後は、お湯で十分に洗ってください。直射日光を避け、涼しく換気の良い場所で、布で完全に水気を切り、乾燥させてください。適切に乾燥させないと、木材がすぐに収縮し、ひび割れや銅の装飾の緩みの原因となります。また、カビが生えたり、黒ずんだりすることもあります。
