江戸切子は日本の伝統工芸品であり、国の伝統工芸品として正式に指定されており、江戸時代（1603年～1867年）に東京の下町で発展しました。 1350度の熱で溶かされた二層のガラスで構成されており、職人は卓越した技術で一つ一つ手作業でガラスをカットし、繊細なデザインを作り上げています。その結果、対照的な2つの色が美しく光を反射し、表面に曲線を描く伝統的な模様や花の模様によって強調されます。特に黒色の江戸切子は、シンプルでモダンなデザインでありながら、深い黒色が強い印象を与えます。この工芸品は、東京のコンクールで最優秀伝統工芸品賞を受賞しました。
