岩鋳の鉄器の品質を維持するためには、適切な使用とお手入れ方法に従うことが重要です。まず、本体を熱湯でよくすすぎ、軽く加熱して水分を蒸発させます。その後、食用油を塗って野菜くずなどを炒め、油を十分に染み込ませてからご使用ください。急冷したり、落としたりしないでください。ひび割れや破損の原因となります。表面は錆びを防ぐために焼き付け塗装を施してあります。金属製のヘラやタワシなど、加工された表面を傷つける可能性のあるものは使用しないでください。岩鋳の鉄器は、直火およびIHクッキングヒーター（IH200V）に対応しています。IHクッキングヒーターは非常に強力であるため、変形を防ぎ、安全のために、火力を中以下に保ち、クッキングヒーターの状態と内部温度に注意してください。
