自宅でイカ焼き（日本の関西地方を中心に人気のイカ焼き）を作ることは、南部鉄器の助けを借りれば可能です。南部鉄器は、1975年に伝統工芸品に指定され、盛岡市と奥州市水沢で製造されています。約400年前に盛岡城を築いた南部氏が、鉄砂、川砂、粘土、漆、炭などの地元の材料を利用して、この工芸品を開発しました。
初回使用前
イカ焼きを作る際に最高の結果を得るためには、初回使用前に南部鉄器に油を塗ることが重要です。これにより、表面が焦げ付いたり錆びたりするのを防ぐ薄い油膜が形成されます。初めて鋳鉄製品を使用する前に実行する必要のある手順は次のとおりです。
- 鍋をよく洗い、表面の汚れを取り除きます。
- 弱火から中火にして、残った水を蒸発させます。
- 薄く油を塗り、野菜くずを炒めて、油が表面全体を覆うようにします。
- 野菜が調理されたら、火を止めて取り出します。
- 鍋が冷めたら、たわしやブラシで水洗いすれば、すぐに使えます！
