江戸切子は、際立った伝統を持つ日本の伝統工芸品です。江戸時代（1603～1867年）に東京の下町で発展しました。ガラスは1350度の熱で溶かされ、2層になるように色付きのガラスでメッキされます。その後、江戸切子の職人は、卓越した技術で細いデザインを刻み、各ガラスを手作業でカットします。コントラストの強い2つの色合いが光を美しく反射し、表面に刻まれた伝統的な模様や花の模様によって強調されています。
