特徴
この柳宗理鉄フライパンは、有名な調理器具シリーズの一つです。サト商事が発明した「マグマプレート」という特殊な素材で作られています。これは青色の焼き入れ材で、南部鉄器のように内側と外側に凹凸があり、表面保護のために黒色酸化被膜でコーティングされ、さらにシリコン樹脂塗料でコーティングされています。これにより、食品がフライパンに焦げ付いたり、くっついたりするのを防ぎ、透明なシリコンコートが錆を防ぎます。フライパンの表面積が増えることで、より多くの熱が伝わるため、調理が速くなり、風味を保ちます。
使用とお手入れ
このフライパンは左利き、右利きどちらの使用にも適しており、IHを含むあらゆるタイプのコンロに最適です。フライパンを予熱する前に、必ず薄く植物油を調理面に塗ってください。使用後は、柔らかいスポンジで手洗いし、石鹸や刺激の強い洗剤の使用は避け、完全に乾かしてください。錆の発生を防ぐため、調理後に食品をフライパンに入れたままにしないでください。フライパンがまだ温かいうちに、内面に少量の植物油を塗り、乾燥した場所に保管してください。
背景
柳宗理は1915年に東京で、民藝（日本の民芸）を推進し、日本民藝館の設立に貢献した柳宗悦の息子として生まれました。宗理は美術と建築の両方を学び、ル・コルビュジエとシャルロット・ペリアンから影響を受けました。第二次世界大戦後、家具、三輪車、オリンピック聖火台、歩道橋など、多くの製品をデザインしました。また、1954年には現在有名なバタフライチェアを制作しました。彼のキッチン用品や食器のほとんどは、現在も新潟県燕市のニホンヨシキ株式会社によって製造されています。
