Edo Kiriko Is A Traditional Japanese Craftwork That Has Been Officially Designated As A National Heritage. This Craft Was Developed In Downtown Tokyo During The Edo Period (1603-1867). The Glass Is Melted At 1350 Degrees And Then Plated With Colored Glass To Create Two Layers. Afterwards, The Glass Is Cut By Hand And Then Curved With Fine Designs By Craftsmen Using Their Remarkable Technique. This Results In Two Shades Of Contrasting Colors, Which Reflect The Light Beautifully And Are Accentuated By The Traditional Or Flower Patterns Curved On The Surface.
