The Knife-Maker Jikko, Also Known As Sakai Jikko, Is A Fourth-Generation Family-Owned Artisan Company Established In 1901 In Sakai City. For Centuries, The City Has Been Renowned For Its Master Craftsmen Who Forge The Finest Quality Kitchen Knives. In Fact, It Is Believed That Nearly 90 Percent Of The Knives Used By Professional Chefs In Japan Are Supplied By Sakai Blacksmiths.
