Japan With Love is updating the checkout process for customers in the European Union to make ordering from Japan clearer and more transparent.
VAT Collected for All EU Orders & Duties Collected for EU Orders Over €150 from June 23, 2026
Starting June 23, 2026, VAT will be collected directly at checkout for all orders shipped to countries in the European Union.
For EU orders valued at €150 or more, applicable duties will also be collected directly at checkout.
Customers will see the total order cost before completing payment, helping avoid unexpected charges when the package arrives.
Important Note for EU Orders Under €150 from July 1, 2026
For EU orders valued under €150 that were placed before July 1, 2026, if the package is cleared through customs on or after July 1, 2026, customers may be required to pay a customs-related fee of €3 per item.
Please review your order summary before payment to confirm all product prices, shipping fees, VAT, and duties where applicable.
