The City Is Renowned For Its Artisans Who Have Been Forging Knives For Centuries. Sakai Blacksmiths Are Famous For Their Quality Kitchen Knives, And Are Believed To Make Up Almost 90 Percent Of The Knives Used By Professional Chefs In Japan. Currently, The Fourth Generation Family-Owned Business Is Run By Toshiyuki Jikko, A Talented Craftsman.
