Hikiyose Is A Wooden Product That Unites Modern Design With Two Traditional Manufacturing Techniques: "Kijibiki" And "Yosegi". Kijibiki Involves Using An Edged Tool And Lathe To Shape Wooden Material Into A Bowl, While Yosegi Is A Wooden Mosaic Technique That Combines Multiple Types Of Wood Pieces. This Product Was Designed By Kaichiro Yamada From Kaichi Design And Was The Recipient Of The Good Design Award In 2014.

Use &Amp; Care Instructions

In Order To Make The Most Out Of Your Hikiyose Product, Please Take Note Of The Following Use And Care Instructions:

  • Avoid Long-Term Exposure To High Temperatures, High Humidity, Extreme Dryness Or Direct Sunlight, As These Can Cause Cracks Or Deformations.
  • Be Mindful Of Falls And Strong Impacts, As These Could Lead To Cracks Or Breaks.
  • Do Not Use Hard Scourers Or Sponges.
  • Abrasive Agents Such As Thinner And Benzine May Cause The Coating To Come Off.
  • It Is Not Compatible With Gas Stoves, Microwaves, Or Dishwashers.
  • Do Not Leave Food Inside Or Keep It Wet, As This Can Cause Stains, Mold Or Bacteria Proliferation.
  • If You Mind The Smell, Pour Hot Water Into The Product And Wait 3 Minutes, Then Drain And Wipe It Before Use.
  • After Use, Wash It With A Soft Sponge And Neutral Detergent Dissolved In Warm Water, And Wipe It Dry With A Cloth.
