Use &Amp; Care

  • This Kitchenware Is Compatible With Any Type Of Cooktops, Including Induction Heating.
  • Before Use, Apply A Thin Layer Of Vegetable Oil To The Surface And Pre-Heat The Pan Well.
  • After Use, Handwash The Pan With A Soft Sponge And Dry It Thoroughly. Do Not Use Soap Or Harsh Detergents.
  • Make Sure No Food Is Left In The Pan After Cooking In Order To Prevent It From Rusting.
  • Apply A Small Amount Of Vegetable Oil On The Surface While Pan Is Still Warm And Store It In A Dry Location.

Background

Sori Yanagi Was Born In Tokyo, Japan In 1915. His Father, Soetsu Yanagi Was The Pioneer Of Japanese Folk Art, Also Known As Mingei. He Helped To Establish The Nihon Mingeikan, The Folk Crafts Museum Of Japan. Sori Yanagi Studied Both Art And Architecture At Tokyo Art School, And Was Deeply Influenced By Le Corbusier And Charlotte Perriand. After The World War Ii, He Designed Many Products Including Furniture, Three-Wheeled Vehicle, Olympic Cauldron, And Pedestrian Overpass.

Sori Yanagi'S Most Famous Design Is The Water Kettle, Which Includes The Butterfly Chair In 1954 And Porcelain And Silverware Series. The Kitchenware And Tableware Are Manufactured By Nihon Yoshokki Co Ltd In Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
