  • Before Each Use, Apply A Thin Layer Of Vegetable Oil To The Cooking Surface And Pre-Heat The Pan Slowly Before Adding Food.
  • This Cast Ironware Should Only Be Hand Washed With A Dish Scrubber Such As Kamenoko Tawashi And Dried Thoroughly. Do Not Use Soap Or Harsh Detergents.

Nambu Cast Ironware Is A Traditional Craftwork Created In Morioka City And Mizusawa, Oshu City In 1975. This Cast Ironware Was Developed By The Nambu Clan, Who Built Morioka Castle About 400 Years Ago. The Nambu Lords Invited Artisans From Kyoto To Promote The Tea Ceremony, Which Led To The Development Of This Cast Ironware In The Area. Additionally, Mizusaway Was Home To The Fujiwara Clan Who Developed The Golden Culture About 900 Years Ago - The Source Of Nambu Cast Ironware. This Type Of Cast Ironware Has A Dimension Of Φ43 X H20 Mm And Is Designed For Use On Gas Or Electric Cooktops. It Must Be Hand Washed With A Dish Scrubber And Stored In A Dry Location.
