The Sori Yanagi Fork Is The Creation Of Sori Yanagi, Born In Tokyo, Japan In 1915. He Was Inspired By His Father, Soetsu Yanagi, Who Promoted Mingei (Japanese Folk Art) And Founded The Nihon Mingeikan, The Folk Crafts Museum Of Japan. Sori Studied Art And Architecture At The Tokyo Art School And Was Further Inspired By Le Corbusier And Charlotte Perriand. Post War, Sori Designed A Range Of Innovative Products Such As Furniture, A Three-Wheeled Vehicle And The Olympic Cauldron. He Is Most Famous For His Kitchen And Tableware Series, Including The Butterfly Chair In 1954.
