Hikiyose Is A Uniquely Designed Wooden Product Of La Luz Inc. Crafted From Two Traditional Manufacturing Techniques: "Kijibiki" And "Yosegi". Kijibiki Is The Method Of Shaping Wooden Material Into A Bowl Using An Edged Tool And A Lathe. Meanwhile, Yosegi Is A Wooden Mosaic Work Combining Different Types Of Wood Pieces. These Methods Are Used To Create Modern Designs, Developed By Kaichiro Yamada From Kaichi Design And Awarded The Good Design Award In 2014. To Ensure The Quality Of Hikiyose, Certain Precautions Should Be Taken. Avoid Long-Term Exposure To High Temperature And Humidity, Extreme Dryness, Or Direct Sunlight, As This May Cause Cracking Or Deformation. Additionally, Fall Or Strong Impact May Cause Cracking Or Breaking. Abrasive Agents Such As Thinner And Benzine May Cause The Coating To Come Off. It Is Not Compatible With Gas Stoves, Microwaves, Or Dishwashers. Soaking In Water Should Be Avoided, As It May Cause It To Crack Or Bend. Likewise, Leaving Food Inside Or Keeping It Wet May Lead To Staining, Molding, Or Bacteria Proliferation. To Avoid Its Smell, Pour Hot Water In It For 3 Minutes, Drain, And Wipe Before Use. After Use, Wash It With A Soft Sponge And Neutral Detergent Dissolved In Warm Water, And Wipe With A Cloth. La Luz Inc. Was Founded In 1994 In Kanagawa, Japan With Its Factory Located In Odawara, Kanagawa. The Company Continues To Use Traditional Japanese Woodworking Techniques To Produce Modern Designs Like Hikiyose, Which Are Not Only Aesthetically Pleasing, But Also Durable And Easy To Use And Maintain.
