Hikiyose Is An Innovative Wooden Product That Combines Modern Design With Two Traditional Japanese Manufacturing Skills, "Kijibiki" And "Yosegi". With Kijibiki, Wood Is Shaped Into A Bowl Using An Edged Tool And Lathe. Yosegi Involves Crafting A Wooden Mosaic By Combining Pieces Of Different Types Of Wood. Hikiyose Is Designed By Kaichiro Yamada Of Kaichi Design, And Was Awarded The Good Design Award In 2014.

To Ensure The Longevity And Quality Of Your Hikiyose Product, Please Keep The Following Use &Amp; Care Instructions In Mind:

• Avoid Long-Term Use In High Temperatures, Extreme Dryness, High Humidity, Or Direct Sunlight, Which May Cause Cracking Or Deformation.
• Falls Or Strong Impacts May Cause Cracking Or Breakage. Avoid Using Hard Scourers Or Sponges.
• Abrasive Agents Such As Thinner And Benzine May Cause The Coating To Come Off.
• Not Compatible With Gas Stoves, Microwaves, Ovens, Or Dishwashers.
• Avoid Soaking In Water For Long Periods Of Time, Which May Cause It To Crack Or Bend.
• Avoid Leaving Food Inside Or Keeping It Wet, Which May Cause Staining, Mould, Or Bacteria Proliferation.
• If You Are Concerned About The Smell, Pour Hot Water In It And Wait 3 Minutes And Then Drain And Wipe Well Before Use.
• After Use, Wash It With A Soft Sponge And Neutral Detergent Dissolved In Warm Water And Wipe It With A Cloth.
