Hikiyose Is A Wooden Product Produced With A Combination Of Modern Design And Two Traditional Manufacturing Techniques: “Kijibiki” (Shaping Wooden Material Into A Bowl Using An Edged Tool And Lathe) And “Yosegi” (Wooden Mosaic Works Combining Different Types Of Wood Pieces). Designed By Kaichiro Yamada, Kaichi Design, Hikiyose Won The Good Design Award In 2014.

How To Use Hikiyose

To Ensure The Longevity Of Your Hikiyose Product, Please Keep The Following Guidelines In Mind:

• Avoid Long-Term Exposure To High Temperatures And Humidity, Extreme Dryness Or Direct Sunlight, Which May Cause Cracking Or Deformation.
• Dropping Or Strong Impacts May Also Cause Cracking Or Breakage. Avoid Using Hard Scourers Or Sponges.
• Abrasive Agents Such As Thinner And Benzene May Cause The Coating To Come Off.
• It Is Not Compatible With Gas Stoves, Microwaves, Or Dishwashers.
• Avoid Leaving Food Inside Or Keeping It Wet, Which May Cause Staining, Mold Or Bacteria Proliferation.
• If You Notice A Smell When You First Use It, Pour Hot Water In It And Wait 3 Minutes, Then Drain And Wipe It Off Before Use.
• After Use, Wash It With A Soft Sponge And Neutral Detergent Dissolved In Warm Water, And Wipe It Off With A Cloth.
