Kijibiki Is The Process Of Shaping Wooden Material Into A Bowl Using An Edged Tool And Lathe. Yosegi Is A Wooden Mosaic Technique That Combines Different Types Of Wood Pieces. This Amazing Product Was Designed By Kaichiro Yamada Of Kaichi Design And Won A Good Design Award In 2014.
Use &Amp; Care Tips
- Avoid Exposing Hikiyose To High Temperatures, Humidity, Extreme Dryness Or Direct Sunlight, Which May Cause Cracking Or Deformation.
- Be Careful Of Falls And Strong Impacts Which May Cause Cracking Or Breakage.
- Do Not Use Abrasive Agents Such As Thinner And Benzine Which May Cause The Coating To Come Off.
- Hikiyose Is Not Compatible With Gas Stoves, Microwaves, Ovens Or Dishwashers.
- Do Not Soak Hikiyose In Water For Long Periods Of Time As This May Cause It To Crack Or Bend.
- Avoid Leaving Food Inside Or Keeping It Wet As This May Cause Staining, Mold Or Bacteria Proliferation.
- If You Notice A Strong Smell Upon First Use, Pour Hot Water In It And Wait 3 Minutes Before Draining And Wiping It Well Before Use.
- After Use, Wash It With A Soft Sponge And Neutral Detergent Dissolved In Warm Water, And Wipe Well With A Cloth.
