Sori Yanagi Was A Japanese Designer And Architect Born In 1915. His Father, Soetsu Yanagi Was The Founder Of "Mingei (Japanese Folk Art)" And Was The First To Discover Beauty In Everyday Ordinary Objects. Sori Was Inspired By Le Corbusier And Charlotte Perriand And Designed Many Products Such As Furniture, Three-Wheeled Vehicle, Olympic Cauldron, And Pedestrian Overpass. He Became Famous For His Water Kettle Design And Butterfly Chair In 1954. Nihon Yoshokki Co Ltd, Founded In 1955 In Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, Manufactures Most Of The Sori Yanagi-Designed Kitchenware And Tableware.
