Use &Amp; Care

This Kettle Is Not Compatible With Induction Cookers Due To The Bottom Diameter. It Is Designed For Boiling Water Only; Avoid Steeping Tea Or Other Plants Inside. Before Using For The First Time, Rinse With Hot Water (Not Soap) For Two To Three Times, Then Boil Water Inside And Discard. After Each Use, Empty The Water And Heat On A Low Flame To Dry The Kettle. Do Not Wash Or Scrub The Inside Of The Kettle, And Make Sure To Store It In A Dry Location.

Ikenaga Iron Works Co.,Ltd. Has Been Producing Steel Castings, Including Alloy, Bushings, And Rolling Mill Rolls, Since 1937 In Osaka, Japan. Nambu Cast Ironware Is A Traditional Craft Made In Morioka City And Mizusawa, Oshu City, Designated As Such In 1975. This Type Of Cast Ironware Was Developed By The Nambu And Fujiwara Clans About 400 And 900 Years Ago Respectively, And Was Used For The Tea Ceremony. All The Necessary Materials Are Found Locally, Such As Iron Sand, River Sand, Clay, Lacquer, And Charcoal.
