Nambu Cast Iron Frying Pan Features

The Nambu Cast Iron Frying Pan Is A Traditional Craft Of Iwate Prefecture And It Features An Extra-Thick Frying Pan With Excellent Heat Storage That Can Deliver Heat Evenly To The Ingredients. Enjoy Cooking With This Frying Pan And Make It Even More Enjoyable!

Use & Care

  • The Nambu Cast Iron Frying Pan Is Compatible With Direct Fire And Induction Cooker (Ih200V). Be Sure To Pay Close Attention To The Frying Pan As The Electromagnetic Cooker Is Extremely Powerful And Use A Medium Power Volume Or Lower To Prevent Deformation And Ensure Safety.
  • Using The Cast Iron Frying Pan For A Longer Period Of Time Will Make The Oil Familiar, Rust-Resistant And Burn-Resistant. To Prevent Food From Sticking To The Pan, Lightly Apply Oil To The Surface Before Every Cooking.
  • After Use, Wash The Frying Pan With A Scrubbing Brush Or Brush With Hot Water Without Using Detergent. If Detergent Is Used, The Oil On The Surface Will Be Washed Away, And That Will Make It Easier To Rust And Burn. After Washing, Lightly Heat It To Evaporate The Water Thoroughly, And Then Cool It Well. When Storing, Apply A Thin Coat Of Oil With Kitchen Paper Etc To Prevent Rusting.
  • The Cast Iron Products Are Very Heavy, So Please Take Care When Handling Them. Dropping Or Quenching May Cause Cracks. Also, Do Not Touch It With Your Bare Hands As The Main Body And Handle May Become Extremely Hot During Use And May Cause Burns.
  • Leaving Foods In The Cast Iron Products Can Cause A Chemical Reaction With The Tannins In The Foods, Which Can Cause The Foods To Turn Black. It Is Harmless To The Human Body, But Do Not Leave The Foods In It After Cooking, Or Store Them In Another Container.
