Use &Amp; Care

This Tetsubin Kettle Is Designed For Boiling Water Only, And Is Not Induction Compatible Due To The Bottom Diameter. Prior To First Use, Rinse With Hot Water (Do Not Use Soap) For 2-3 Times, Boil Water In The Kettle And Discard The Water. Each Time You Use This Kettle, Make Sure To Discard The Water And Heat On Low Heat To Dry The Kettle Completely. Do Not Wash Or Rub Inside The Kettle, And Store In A Dry Location.

Ikenaga Iron Works Co.,Ltd. Was Founded In 1937 In Osaka, Japan. Nambu Cast Ironware Was Designated As A Traditional Craftwork In 1975 And Is Produced In Morioka City And Mizusawa, Oshu City. The Nambu Clan, Who Built Morioka Castle About 400 Years Ago, Are Responsible For The Development Of This Craft. All The Necessary Materials Needed To Produce Cast Ironware Are Available Locally, Including Iron Sand, River Sand, Clay, Lacquer, Charcoal, Etc. Mizusawa'S Cast Ironware Was Originally Developed About 900 Years Ago, By The Fujiwara Clan Who Developed The Golden Culture.
